Our spacious one bedroom, two bath vacation rental condominium is the perfect place to find the peace and tranquility that is Maui.
Located on the top floor of a 2 story building, it sleeps up to 2-3 guests and has a spectacular ocean view just a few steps from Ekahi's ocean front pool & Keawakapu Beach..

|
The floor plan (click on it for a larger image) shows the condo's hall bath has a closet and full dressing area for added privacy should we have guests visiting.
We purchased 5E in March 2004 and shortly began remodeling. According to our guests, the results are luxurious, colorful and even breathtaking.
Dining on our ocean view lanai is so special...

The gas grill cooks up all that wonderful Hawaiian fish so we dine Hawaiian style listening to birds singing, watching sunsets, whales (in season) and the changing waters from this very private, lush, tropical setting with sweeping ocean views.
The lanai is huge and is also accessible from the bedroom.

|
We've eliminated a large table in the dining room. Instead we have an easily accessible twin wall bed and a wonderful breakfast bar/dining area as part of the new, expanded kitchen.
The bar area seats 4 easily on wonderfully comfortable swivel chairs. Chatting with the cook, or the bar tender (corner bar) keeps everyone happy.

The kitchen is a thing of beauty. Granite counters, tile floor, and beautiful pecan raised panel cabinets are combined with the newest appliances. Note the Sub Zero refrigerator with 2 freezer drawers.

|
As you walk in the front door, views of the ocean greet you. These photos are somewhat misleading as the water is much closer than it looks here.
The views are so good, we had to add a window in the former dining area. Now the cook has ocean views too.

The living room is home to our new entertainment center. Large TV, DVD and stereo are hidden but at home here.
Plenty of light and comfortable seating for reading or chatting when you don't want to be out on the lanai.

|
The bedroom is spacious with a tropical decorator feel and cathedral ceilings. Gorgeous furniture and decorating touches abound. The red wall is welcoming and soothing.
A full mirror on the closet doors in the dressing room adds to the feeling of spaciousness. Large sliding doors open onto the lanai and provide ocean views from bed.

The master bath is also completely remodeled. The walk-in shower has beautiful etched glass doors. The sink area also boasts a granite counter and cabinetry similar to the kitchen's.
We've added a coved ceiling with fan... and plenty of storage.
Down the hall toward the kitchen there is a second full bath with dressing area (see left). An extra closet there hides our new, full size washer/dryer.

The grounds of Ekahi Village are really unparalleled on Maui. Low density, low rise buildings in a tropical setting. All paths in our green belt lead to the ocean front pool (pictured above) and Keawakapu Beach (pictured looking south and north below).
